The President of the Republic, through Decrees 454 and 455 of 2020, added some provisions to the Single Regulatory Decree of the Public Service Sector with respect to: (i) administrative development policies formulated by the Administrative Department of the Public Service and (ii) on gender equity in managerial level jobs in the Executive Branch.
Decree 454 of 2020 includes "Statistical Information Management" as a management and institutional performance policy that may be developed by the Administrative Department of the Public Service. On the other hand, Decree 455 of 2020 establishes new rules to guarantee equity and equal opportunities for women in the provision of managerial-level jobs in the executive branch of the national and territorial order:
i) By the year 2020, at least 35% of managerial level positions will be held by women
ii) By 2021, at least 45% of managerial level positions will be held by women
iii) By 2022, at least 50 % of senior level positions will be held by women
