Numeral 11 of Article 58 of the Law 1480 of 2011 states that the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce may verify the compliance with its decisions and in the case of non-compliance may impose sanctions. The terms of said proceedings were suspended during the term of the Sanitary Emergency.
Resolution 32821 of 2020 resumes the terms from July 1, 2020 and provides that the compliance verification proceedings will be carried out through the use of information and communication technologies.
Efforts will be made to ensure that the proceedings are carried out without the imposition of formalities that are not considered necessary. For example, memorials and powers of attorney may be sent by mail without presentation or personal authentication and signatures will be made in digital form.
