Extension until 2023 of the validity of the exceptional rules on the financial and organizational capacity of bidders

Through Decree 1041 of 2022, issued by the National Planning Department, the validity of the exceptional provisions related to the financial and organizational capacity of the bidders was extended until 2023, necessary for the verification of compliance as an enabling requirement for participation in the selection processes. With this decree, the faculty to register in the RUP (Spanish acronym for “Bidders Single Registry”) the financial and organizational information of the bidders corresponding to the last three (3) fiscal years prior to the registration, renewal or update of the RUP is extended until 2023. 

Tax and customs benefits regulations for the Women's Copa América of 2022 Is ready

By means of a decree issued by the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, the benefits granted by Law 2176 of 2021, related to national taxes and customs duties established on the occasion of the Women's Copa América of 2022 were regulated and VAT refund procedures for some sports competitions were unified. Through this decree the procedure applicable to the refund of sales tax (VAT) in the framework of the following sports competitions are harmonized and unified: I Pan-American Junior Games Of Cali Of 2021, V Parapan-American Youth Games of Bogota of 2022, Bolivarian Sports Games of Valledupar of 2022, the XIX World Sub-20 Athletics Championship of Cali of 2022 and the Women's Copa América of 2022.
