Through Decree 439 of March 20, 2020, the President of the Republic decreed the suspension of disembarkation for the purpose of entry or connection into Colombian territory of passengers coming from abroad by air, starting at 00:00 hours on Monday, March 23, 2020.

Disembarkation for the purpose of entry or connection into Colombian territory will only be permitted in the event of a humanitarian emergency, fortuitous event or force majeure, with prior authorization from the competent authorities. 

Crew members, technical and managerial staff and cargo accompanying persons of air cargo companies are exempted from the above measure and must comply with the protocols. 

The Special Administrative Unit for Migration in Colombia, within the framework of its powers, may deny the entry of any foreigner into Colombian territory. 

Finally, all persons arriving from abroad must adopt preventive health measures of isolation and 14-day quarantine.
