The main measures included in Resolution 19831 of the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce are:
- Extension of the suspension of the terms of jurisdictional proceedings and compliance verification proceedings (described in item 11 of Article 58 of the Act 1480 of 2011) regarding unfair competition and intellectual property matters, filed before May the 1st. The extension of the suspension goes through May 30, 2020, with the following exceptions:
* Ongoing Jurisdictional consumer protection proceedings.
* Actions filed online, since March the 17th, 2020, before the jurisdictional delegation in accordance with Article 24 of the General Procedures Code.
- The restarting proceedings will be processed online. Superintendence’s officials will not require unnecessary formal conditions.
- Communications should be filed by email in PDF format.
- The parties, attorneys, third parties, and others involved in jurisdictional proceeding must provide an email.
- Writs and Decisions will be signed digitally.
- Notifications will be published on the Superintendence’s website.
