The Ministry of Mines and Energy published Resolution 40198 of June 24, 2021, whereby it amended Resolution 405405 of 2020 that issued the technical regulations applicable to service stations, supply plants, large consumer facilities and final consumer supply tanks that store biofuels, crude or liquid fuels and their blends that will enter into force in March 30, 202 and will be in force for five years. 

Resolution 40198 replace the general annex of the technical guideline in its entirety, adjust said guideline to the reality of the country and provide legal certainty to the agents of the fuel chain in this regard.
