The supreme power overrules and is automatically applied by the Ministry of Work to all requests submitted or to be submitted to all Regional Directorates and Special Offices called “Authorization to employer for the temporary suspension of activities up to 120 days” and “Authorization to employer for collective dismissal of employees due to the partial or total closure of activities, permanently or temporarily”.
The supreme power overrules and is automatically applied by the Ministry of Work to all requests submitted or to be submitted to all Regional Directorates and Special Offices called “Authorization to employer for the temporary suspension of activities up to 120 days” and “Authorization to employer for collective dismissal of employees due to the partial or total closure of activities, permanently or temporarily”.
The Ministry of Work issued Resolution 803 of 2020 giving preference to all requests submitted or to be submitted to the Regional Directorates and Special Offices called “Authorization to employer for the temporary suspension of activities up to 120 days” and “Authorization to employer for collective dismissal of employees for the temporary or total closure of activities, permanently or temporarily”.
Likewise, the Ministry of Work orders all Regional Directorates and Special Offices to send these requests to the Special Investigations Unit.
This decision is informed to all Regional Directorates and Special Offices.
