On December 1st, 2022, the Ministry of the Internal Affairs launched the SIANCP information system, which aims to manage the prior consultation process more efficiently through the systematization of proceedings related to the determination, origin, and legal opportunity. 

Including digital information tools will improve the traceability of requests and administrative procedures, and consequently reduce the response time to users.
 
Additionally, with the creation of this new platform, communities, entrepreneurs, public and private investors, among other actors, could file and follow up the different requests related to the opening of consultation processes. 

Finally, it is important to highlight that this tool promotes in an organized and safe manner the right to prior consultation throughout the national territory, allowing for a more efficient development of the consultative process with communities.
