OECD updates Corporate Guidelines

On June 7th and 8th, the Council of Ministers of the Organization for Economic and Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) met to discuss how to tackle new environmental, social, political, and economic challenges. The agenda was based on three interconnected themes: (i) Economic resilience: policies for stronger and more inclusive economic values and growth; (ii) Frontiers of the Future: Innovative Technology for Net Zero Economies; and (iii) Global Partnerships: A Long-Term Commitment to the Indo-Pacific Region.

The OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises bring together all thematic areas of corporate responsibility, including human rights, labor rights, disclosure, the environment, how to counter corruption, consumer interest protection, science, technology and innovation, competition, taxation, and tax issues.
