Last April, the National Mining Agency, along with the Colombian Stock Exchange, the Colombian Mercantile Exchange, the Toronto Stock Exchange, mining sector associations, the Directorate of Corporate Mining, the Ministry of Mines and Energy, among others published a financial inclusion tool for the mining sector called "Capital Market Methodological Guide" (the "Guide"). 

The Guide is aimed at all levels of the mining activity and is based on three pillars: trust, banking and financing. In addition, it aims to familiarize miners (based on their particularities) with financing instruments other than banking and to adopt such instruments to the best of its needs.
