The Ministry of Health and Social Protection (MHSP) published the guidelines for the implementation of telehealth activities, including telemedicine and teleorientation in context of COVID-19 for Health Service Providers (HSP) and Benefit Plan Administrators (BPAs).

Particularly, it includes the parameters for remote access in relation with the connectivity of devices, security measures, flexibilization of norms related with personal data processing and electronic signature and establishes the standard of quality for the audio and video of the devices. 

It also makes reference to the protocols and procedures with patients in order to control symptoms, evaluate the respiratory process, the use of the medical history in such procedures and the licenses required by the local authorities in order to provide this kind of assistance.
