The Resolution issued by MADS extended, for a term of two years, as of the issuance of the administrative act, the legal effects of the zones of protection and development of renewable natural resources and the environment. The Resolution identifies six protection zones duly related in polygons and establishes that the total area of the zones of protection and development of renewable natural resources and the environment, contained in this administrative act, correspond to approximately 1,611,380.79 hectares.

Finally, this Resolution emphasizes that no new mining concessions are able to be granted and the legal effects of the protection and development zones for renewable natural resources and the environment will remain in force for the duration of the administrative act.
