Through External Circular No. 003 of 2020, the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) extended the deadline to update information the National Database Register ("RNBD") until July 3, 2020, with the purpose of controlling the spread of COVID-19.
According to the SIC, obtaining data to update the information registered in the RNBD implies, in some cases, the movement of people to their companies or entities. In order to avoid the spread of COVID-19, the SIC considered it necessary to prevent people from circulating in the national territory for this purpose.
Companies with registered databases are required to update the RNBD annually between January 2 and March 31 of the respective year.
