On March 29, 2020, through Resolution 039 of 2020, CREG issued a Draft Resolution, through which it plans to order the non-application of the energy supply limitation programs to marketers and distributors who are breaching their duties, which is currently regulated under Resolution CREG 116 of 1998. These programs are planned to be suspended for a period of three months from the date of publication of the final resolution of the CREG.
Through Resolution CREG 039 of 2020, the CREG invites agents, users, competent local municipal and departmental authorities, and the Superintendence of Public Utilities to submit their observations or suggestions on the proposal, within 24 hours of the publication of that resolution on the website of the Energy and Gas Regulation Commission.
