Colombia’s Competition Authority, the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio – SIC will charge filing fees for merger control procedures starting today.
Under a 2019 statute allowing it to do so, the SIC will now charge filing fees for all new merger control procedures. The fees will vary depending on the type of procedure and the stage of the process, and will be updated on a yearly basis. The fees for 2021 are as follows: 
 

The fee must be paid prior to submitting the application, and proof of payment must be included with the filing. Merger control procedures currently underway will not be subject to the new filing fees.
