Brigard Urrutia’s tax practice partner. As a member of the Tax practice area, he advises national and international clients in a wide variety of matters with respect to local and foreign taxation. Also, he is currently involved in the negotiation of contracts, mergers, acquisitions and other commercial agreements, in relation to their tax effects and tax optimization alternatives. He permanently advises local and foreign companies in connection with the tax effects of their business development. He also has experience with the tax government and judicial litigation, tax compliance and transfer pricing.
Attorney from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogota. He holds a postgraduate degree in Administrative Law from Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario and a Master´s degree (LL.M.) in International Taxation from New York University. With over 10 years of experience in tax matters, Andrés has worked as a tax and legal consultant, as litigant and as general counsel in international companies engaged in projects in the United States and in Latin America.
