By means of administrative resolutions 3323 and 3324 granted on April 9, 2020, the Superintendence of Notary and Registry implemented mandatory measures regarding opening hours for Colombian public notaries until April 24, 2020. Therefore, public notaries in Colombia shall take turns to render their services.

In addition, by means of administrative resolution 3325 granted on April 11, 2020, the suspension of the terms of the proceedings, disciplinary actions and registry procedures before the Superintendence of Notary and Registry and the Public Registry Offices was extended until April 27, 2020.

The Superintendence of Notary and Registry also implemented an app for electronic filings before the Public Registry Offices and the 80 notary offices in Bogota. Likewise, non-presential filing tools for public deeds were enabled in Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla and Cartagena. The filing of the public deeds before the Public Registry Office in these cities shall be performed by the notary offices.
