The third wave of coronavirus has become the deadliest since the beginning of the pandemic. Colombia now surpassed the record 400 deaths per day and cities like Bogotá, Medellín and Cali have distressing levels of ICU occupancy.
Therefore, National and local governments have agreed to implement nightly curfews based on intensive care unit (ICU) occupancy until May 3. Cities with an ICU occupancy above 85% will have a curfew from 6 p.m. through 5 a.m., while those with between 80% and 85% capacity will have curfews beginning at 8 p.m.
Moreover, there are limits on who can enter shops and other businesses by two weeks, and cities with an ICU occupancy above 85% will have a curfew from 6 p.m. through 5 a.m., while those with between 80% and 85% capacity will have curfews beginning at 8 p.m.
