Modifications on land transportation of LPG and its tax benefits in border areas

The Ministry of Mines and Energy issued Decree 1135 of 2022 which modifies the Sole Regulatory Decree of the Administrative Sector of Mines and Energy regarding the hydrocarbons sector. The Decree implemented the recommendations of the Superintendence and established the conditions for the land transportation of liquid fuels, biofuels and/or their mixtures. 

According to the regulation, this activity may only be carried out in vehicles with tank-type bodywork and by transporters that carry or have continuous digital access to the transport guide of hydrocarbons, biofuels and their mixtures. Likewise, the regulation determined the methodology for the distribution of fuels with tax benefits in border areas. 
 

Henceforward, employers must report their vacancies to the Public Employment Service

Through Law 2225, the Congress of the Republic included and modified some guidelines with the purpose of providing greater support in the mechanism of protection to the unemployed and promotion of employment generation in the national territory established in Laws 1636 of 2013 and 789 of 2002. 

The support for the protection of the unemployed corresponds to economic benefits to which all workers who have contributed to the Social Security System in Health and Pensions will be entitled, over 1 SMMLV and an economic transfer for a value of 1.5 SMMLV for those contributors in category a and b of the family subsidy system.

Annual inflation for the month of June was 9.67%, the highest in 22 years

The National Administrative Department of Statistics published the technical bulletin of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the month of June. According to the data, monthly inflation was 0.51%, year-to-date inflation was 7.09%, and annual inflation was 9.67%, the highest annual inflation recorded in the last 22 years.
