Valeria Cárdenas Farieta

Associate of Brigard Urrutia since 2019, she is currently Associate of the Litigation, Arbitration and Insolvency Team. In the time she has been practicing her profession, she has successfully advised and represented national and international companies in litigation before judges of the Republic, superintendencies and arbitration tribunals, in different areas of law, such as contractual and extracontractual civil liability, unfair competition actions and customer protection.
She graduated from the Faculty of Jurisprudence of the Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, and has an in-depth knowledge of Constitutional Law and Human Rights. She was granted a scholarship throughout her career and was exempted from taking preparatory exams due to her excellent academic performance. Finally, she received two awards for professional and academic excellence "Carlos Alzáte" granted by her university in recognition of her outstanding performance during the Legal Clinic. 
She did her legal practice in the Supreme Court of Justice and participated in different symposiums and contests on behalf of her university.
