Sebastián Lora Burman

Sebastian holds a law degree and a postgraduate degree in Commercial Law from the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia. He also holds a Masters of Law (LL.M.) from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Business & Law Certificate from Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

He has a solid career track with over 15 years of experience, having worked at top national and international law firms, such as Simpson Thacher & Barlett LLP in New York, advising lenders, borrowers, and local and international financial institutions on various financing transactions, including corporate financings, project financings, acquisition financings, syndicated loans, asset-backed loans and refinancings, with multilateral entities, financial institutions, and local and international entities in the real sector.

Additionally, he has been recognized in prestigious international legal directories, such as Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, in the areas of Banking & Finance and Projects.
