María Victoria Munévar
María Victoria Munevar is a lawyer from Colegio Mayor Nuestra Señora del Rosario, admitted to practice in Colombia and the state of New York. She holds a postgraduate degree in Commercial Law from the same university and holds a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.) in International Business Regulation, Litigation, and Arbitration from New York University.
As a member of the Litigation, Arbitration, and Insolvency team, María Victoria advises national and international corporations in litigations before national judges, superintendencies, and other authorities, as well as in domestic and international arbitrations conducted under different sets of rules (ICC, UNCITRA, CCB) and related to several industries and areas of law, such as contractual civil liability and non-contractual, corporate disputes, energy, mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure, unfair competition and consumer protection. Likewise, she advises national and international clients in the implementation of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, such as conciliation proceedings, and in the negotiation and implementation of settlement agreements.
