Andrés Díaz Grillo
Andrés is a senior associate in the firm’s Banking and Financial Services team. Lawyer (JD) from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He holds an LL.M. (Master of Laws) from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. He obtained the Wharton Business & Law Certificate at the Wharton School's Aresty Institute of Executive Education. Andrés also received, with distinction, the Diploma in International Air Law from the Training & Development Institute of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
His practice involves advising international and local clients on transactional matters. His experience includes counseling clients in the financial, aviation, advertising, technology and mining sectors. He has also advised several clients in their regulatory matters before the local financial regulator and civil aviation authority.
He is an adjunct professor of International Commercial Law at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. His lectures are on the law applicable to international legal relationships, with emphasis on legal figures or institutions of Anglo-Saxon origin that influence the structure and negotiation of international contracts.
