María José Pachón

María José graduated from the Law School of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, with a major in international commercial law and tort law. 
She speaks three (3) languages: Spanish, English, and German. 

She joined Brigard Castro in 2019 and later worked at “Centro de Emprendimiento Javeriano” (entrepreneurship center) of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, providing legal advice to entrepreneurs and commercial law advice. She rejoined Brigard Urrutia in July 2021 and completed the summer internship supporting the foreign exchange, international investments, and structured products teams and the capital markets team. She is currently an associate in the foreign exchange, structured products, and financial derivatives team.
As a member of the foreign exchange, international investment, structure products & derivatives team, María José advises national and international clients.
