Liliana Marcela Rubiano

Environmental engineer from the Universidad Libre, with a master's degree in environmental engineering and management from the Universidad de los Andes, with 20 years of experience in environmental project management, of which 10 years have been dedicated to consulting for the preparation and assurance of environmental studies within the framework of environmental legislation in Colombia and international standards. Said consulting and assurance with emphasis on sustainability issues, environmental impact assessment and its economic valuation, climate change, carbon footprints, water resource modeling and waste management, among others. Likewise, I have had the opportunity to participate in environmental training processes and regulatory updating in environmental matters, both in programs tailored for the private sector, as well as in academic programs, such as the Utopia project of the Universidad de la Salle. Additionally, I have training and experience as an Auditor in Integrated Management Systems - ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and OHSAS 18001: 2007 awarded by Bureau Veritas, Internal Auditor ISO 14064-1: 2018, ISO 14064-2: 2019, ISO 14064-3: 2019, and ISO 14067: 2018, awarded by SGS Colombia in January 2024, and in February 2024, I completed the Update of the International Standard of the Zero Waste Management System Version 5, awarded by Global Zero Waste / Basura Cero Global.
