José Alejandro Sierra

Director of the sports law team at Brigard Urrutia, with more than 20 years of experience. As of 2019, he assumed the leadership of the practice for which he has prepared academically and professionally in entities of high prestige worldwide. He currently also performs as sports arbitrator at Cámara de Comercio de Cali.

He is a graduate of Universidad Santo Tomás de Aquino with postgraduate studies in Labor Law and Social Security from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Commercial Law from Universidad de Los Andes. José Alejandro has several master's degrees both in Colombia and abroad, thus obtaining a master’s degree in Business Legal Advice from the Instituto de Empresa de Madrid, a Master's Degree in Law in Universidad de Los Andes and a Masters in International Sports Law from the Higher Institute of Law and Economics – ISDE.

He has been recognized several times by Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.
