Elisa Medici
Law degree from the University of Bologna (Italy), degree validated in Colombia, with a Master in International Relations at the International University of Andalusia (Spain) and currently pursuing a doctoral program in International Studies in Peace, Conflict and Development at the University Juame I (Spain).
With more than 10 years of experience in the academic sector in public international law issues: business and human rights, ethnic communities, armed conflict and land issues. In addition, she worked in the red zone as a legal advisor for victims of the Colombian armed conflict in an international NGO. She was national responsible for an Italian NGO in Colombia, as an expert in project management, networking and strategic alliances.
In the business world she was a social consultant in environmental projects, human rights coordinator and responsible for the B Corp certification of a multinational company. In January 2023 she joined Brigard Urrutia, where she is the coordinator of the firm's ESG & Impact area.
