Pursuant to Resolution 2223 of September 16th, 2020, Migración Colombia reactivated the following services and terms. 

1. Issuance of Foreigners’ ID Card and its duplicate;
2. Foreign Registration for both minors and adults;
3. Certificates of Migratory Movements;
4. Certificate of Migratory Movements and Nationality;
5. Safe conduct SC-1 and SC-2.
6. Special Permit of Permanence for the Promotion of Formalization (PEP-FF).
7. Temporary Stay Permits (PTP) for extensions of stay in the national territory and for category change.

Nationals and foreigners who need to carry out any of these procedures must request an appointment in advance.

Migración Colombia will grant a transition period for the procedures resumed from September 21, 2020 and until December 15, 2020, inclusive, so that the foreigner can schedule his or her procedure.

8. Additionally, as of September 21, 2020, the procedural terms of the administrative sanctioning actions carried out by Migración Colombia will resume.

9. Foreigners who incur visa termination situations, will have up to one month (1), from September 21 of this year, to request safe conduct and resolve their immigration status during that term.

10. The term of permanence in the national territory will be resumed, to foreigners who have been granted the Entry and Permanence Permit and who have been suspended due to the Emergency.

11. Foreign citizens who are in the country with entry and stay permits, whose expiration occurred during the declaration of the Sanitary Emergency, will have up to one more month (1) from October 1 of this year to advance the procedure for its renewal (PTP), processing the visa or leaving the country.

12. Resume the cancellation terms of the special PEP permanence permits, as of September 19, 2020.

13. Resume the Automatic Migration and BIOMIG services as of September 19, 2020.
