Hidroarma hydro power stations - tenders 

Sociedad Hidroeléctricas del Río Arma S. A. S. E. S. P., has commenced a process of public tender for the sale of the Encimadas and Cañaveral hydroelectric projects. 

The Encimadas Hydroelectric Project is an operation project, located in the Department of Caldas, in the Municipality of Aguadas. This project captures the flow of the Arma River in the vicinity of the hydrometric station of La Albania. The Project will have an installed capacity of 94 MW and its main works will be located between the point where the San Felix creek and the Arma river meet, up to the El Chocho creek, on the vereda Arenillal, in an area of 252.6 km2.   

The Cañaveral Hydroelectric Project is located in the department of Antioquia, in the municipality of Sonsón. It is also an operation project, which captures the flow of the River Arma near the Arenillal bridge. This project will have a capacity of 80 MW and its main works are located between the confluence of the Chorreadero creek and the Arma river, in the vereda Arenillal, up to the La Violeta creek in the vereda Llano Cañaveral, in an area of 378 km2. 

The final bidding documents for the tender process have already been published and can be consulted at hidroarma and www.colombiacompra.gov.co The presentation of the qualifying requirements (first envelope) will be on October 17th, 2017, and the economic offer (second envelope) on November 7th, 2017. 

The initial value of the tender, or minimum sale price, will be the sum of COP$94,900,000,000, or USD$31,600,000,000 approximately, which were obtained from the valuation exercise carried out by the firm Esfinanzas. 

To access the data room where all the project information is located, a non-disclosure agreement must be executed. The access is available from August 1st to October 13.
