Lucía Mendieta Villegas

Lawyer from Universidad de los Andes. She completed her professional practices at the Constitutional Court and is currently part of the Litigation, Arbitration and Insolvency team. Lucia advises national and international clients on civil and commercial matters before the national jurisdiction and arbitral tribunals.

Before joining the Litigation, Arbitration and Insolvency team, Lucia coordinated the firm's pro bono practice for two years. During this time, she had the opportunity to advise various non-profit organizations on corporate and tax issues, and worked hand in hand with Compartamos con Colombia, the Fundación ProBono Colombia and Lex Mundi to ensure effective access to justice for vulnerable communities in the country.
