The National Hydrocarbons Agency ordered the initiation of the Permanent Bidding Process and published, with the purpose of receiving observations from the public, the draft terms of reference and minutes of both, the continental and offshore exploration and production agreements.
On February 4th, the Executive Council of the National Hydrocarbons Agency (“ANH”) issued Agreement 02 of 2019, by means of which, it:
- Approved the draft terms of reference of the Permanent Bidding Process, along with the draft minutes of the exploration and production agreements for continental and offshore areas, with their corresponding annexes, which; and
- gave power to the president of the ANH to issue the definitive terms of reference and exploration and production agreement minutes, once the ANH answers the observations and suggestions given by the public.
Afterwards, the president of the ANH issued Resolution 36 dated February 5th, 2019, by means of which it ordered the official initiation of the Permanent Bidding Process.
