José Nicolás Bolívar López
Associate of Brigard Urrutia's Banking and Financial Services practice. José Nicolás is one of the youngest lawyers in the Colombian market, graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Bogotá D.C.), and a coach of the national and international arbitration team of the same university.
José Nicolás has participated in various local and multi-jurisdictional transactions, mainly involving corporate financings, structuring and project finance. His experience includes advising national and international proyect companies, companies, and lenders. Among the clients he has advised are Scotiabank (Canada & Colombia), Bancolombia (Colombia), Solarpack Corporation (Spain), Total Eren (France), Canacol Energy (Colombia), Celsia (Colombia), among others.
